The main objective for authorizing <a href=\"https:\/\/legalwindow.in\/fssai-food-registration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FSSAI<\/a> is to lay down the rules and regulation of having a food business across the country along with FSSAI is duty bound to ensure the proper quality check of the food which will not only increase the quality rather the course of adultery in food and sale of banned products shall be annihilated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"Eligibility\"><b>Eligibility\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The eligible criteria for various food business which requires<a href=\"https:\/\/legalwindow.in\/how-to-transfer-a-food-license-in-india\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> FSSAI license<\/a>\/ registration are as follows &#8211;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any food business which has an annual turnover that doesn\u2019t cross INR 12 Lakh<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any individual who manufacturer or sells or deals anything that\u2019s related to food product be it permanent or temporary (snacks shop, bakery etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vegetable oil processing units<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any SSI industries that deals in food business and its production of up-to 100 Kg or 100 Lt. Per day<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any SSI which deals with the food\/ produces\/ handles\/ collects up-to 500 Lt. of milk and accommodates 2 large animals\/ 10 animals\/ 50 poultry birds per day (including refrigeratored storage facility)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Food vending agencies\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Import\/ Export of food items\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"Process \"><b>Process for acquiring an FSSAI license\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anyone interested to procure an FSSAI license has to apply through online by filling an application known as Food Licensing and Registration System (FLRS).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Step 1<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; The eligibility criteria for registration for state or central food licensing shall be done by login on to foodlicensing.fssai.gov.in.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Step 2<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; With fulfilling the eligibility criteria, an account has to be activated by filling up the sign-up form. (With valid e-Mail ID and Contact information.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Step 3<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; After creating an account, the form has to be filled up with the required documents.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Step 4<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; With the successful submission an acknowledgement of the same shall be provided with a reference number for the future use.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Step 5<\/b><span
