Furthermore, the profits and loss of these firms are distributed between the partners of the firm as per the agreement made between them.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In this article, we will study and know more about the differences between these two type of business entities in India.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Definition of LLP or Limited Liability Partnership<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Limited Liability Partnership generally abbreviated as LLP in India is governed under the\u00a0Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008[1]. As per the <a href=\"https:\/\/legislative.gov.in\/sites\/default\/files\/The%20Limited%20Liability%20Partnership%20Act,%202008.pdf\">Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008<\/a>, the LLP is defined as the partnership formed and registered under this Act. The greatest advantage of forming an LLP is a limited liability and flexible management roles. Unlike Partnership Firms, LLPs does not expose their partners to unlimited liability. Also, the members or partners of a\u00a0Limited Liability Partnership Firm\u00a0can be sued, and they can sue someone as it is a legal entity.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Takeaway<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">LLP is a new concept while Partnership is an old\u00a0concept.
